Exploring nanoselenium to tackle mutated SARS-CoV-2 for efficient COVID-19 management

Despite ongoing public health measures and increasing vaccination rates, deaths disease severity caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) its new emergent variants continue to threaten the of people around world. Therefore, there is an urgent need develop novel strategies for research, diagnosis, treatment, government policies combat variant strains SARS-CoV-2. Since state-of-the-art COVID-19 pandemic, role selenium in dealing with has been widely discussed due importance as essential micronutrient. This review aims at providing all antiviral activities nanoselenium (Nano-Se) ever explored using different methods literature. We systematically summarize studied Nano-Se required project it efficient system a function shape, size, synthesis method. The outcomes this article not only introduce scientific community but also motivate scholars adopt tackle any serious virus such mutated SARS-CoV-2 achieve effective activity desired manner.
